Will Harris
Owner & General Manager
Since beginning his career in the fitness industry in 2005, Will's goal has been simple; to help people become the strongest version of themselves.
Prior to building his own brand, Will started his journey by climbing the ranks at metropolitan health clubs such as Bally Total Fitness and New York Sports Club. Inspired by the warehouse gym model (made famous by pioneers like Joe Defranco) where the quality of training, atmosphere, and RESULTS are what's most important, he launched his first gym (CrossFit Riverdale) in 2009. Following the success of his first fitness business, Will branched out to create Harrison Strength & Fitness, Rehoboth Beach Barbell Club, and Jab & Flow.
Over the past 19+ years, Will has coached athletes to over 100 top 3 finishes at sanctioned strength sport events, helped high-school athletes earn scholarships, trained high profile celebrities, worked with everyday people who just want to live healthier and happier lives, and contributed his expertise to various national and international media outlets.
As an avid athlete, Will is a 7x winner of Delaware's Strongest Man and also has competitive experience in Powerlifting and CrossFit. His additional athletic pursuits led to mentorship from accomplished boxing coaches John Glover and Billy Lyell, becoming a Level 1 coach through Box N Burn Academy, and serving as a fundamentals coach at Jab & Flow Rehoboth.
While his passion still remains in helping the everyday person reach their fitness goals, Will most recently founded his corporate wellness brand, Strong Fit & Well. The company's mission is to deliver unique and effective fitness programs to organizations and residential communities looking to build a healthier culture.

April Jones
Mobility Coach & Injury Rehab Specialist
Greetings! My name is April Jones, and I am a Certified and Licensed Athletic Trainer. In 2018, I received my Bachelors of Science degree at East Stroudsburg University where I also played Division II Lacrosse, before a head injury removed me from the game my sophomore year. I specialize in diagnosing, treating and preventing athletic injuries, but with my strong background and education in body-mechanics, I am devoted to bring my knowledge to put in the work to help you become the healthiest and strongest version of yourself through proper technique when training.
I have been surrounded by sports and fitness my entire life. I can remember always being active whether it was shooting hoops, hitting the golf course or tossing the lacrosse ball around in the yard. I played many sports growing up including soccer, gymnastics, softball, golf, basketball and lacrosse. In high school I played golf, basketball, and lacrosse, and had many athletic accomplishments along with them. But, when I was a freshman in high school I started to get serious about wanting to LEVEL UP on the field, as I was being recruited to play college lacrosse. I got in contact with a local personal strength training coach, who recognized my potential and trained me HARD! Four years later, I was a starting freshman for the Division II program. When you put in the work, you will be rewarded!
My goal is to provide a positive, encouraging environment to help find and BUILD your hidden athletic potential and become who you strive to be on and off the field! I have a passion for educating people on how the body works and how to move with purpose. I believe in a “movement is medicine” mentality and I am thrilled to be joining a community dedicated to health and wellness as much as I am. Come explore your potential, with the many classes offered here at the Rehoboth Beach Barbell Club!

Assistant Strength & Conditioning Coach
When I first started my fitness journey 10 years ago, I started from scratch. I was out of shape and was lost. I walked into my first workout class, not realizing the effects that it would have. Fast forwarding today, I've lost over 40 pounds, coached athletes at all levels, qualified for national-level Olympic weightlifting competitions, and trained in various martial arts.
I've been training Jiujitsu and kickboxing for the past 3 years. Starting with no prior background, learning the fundamentals became essential. Learning these martial arts gave me the confidence and discipline that can be applied outside of the gym.
Overall, my mission is to make workouts more enjoyable. Whether athletes want to focus solely on weightlifting, kickboxing, or a hybrid of both, I ensure they achieve the results they deserve.

Assistant Strength & Conditioning Coach
To put it simple, I started taking strength training seriously when I was 19 and it changed my life. Despite the fact that I was a competitive athlete as far back as I remember, nobody taught me how to truly get strong until I got to college.
When I stepped into the weight-room for the first time as a freshman at the University of Florida, it was a shock to my system. I didn't really understand how much I DIDN'T know. I felt weak, my form was awful, and I couldn't perform up to the standards I set for myself because I didn’t have the fundamentals down yet. It was embarrassing and it crushed my ego. I was self-conscious, and it definitely affected my play on the field.
I knew I needed to make a change, so I hired a strength coach while home on breaks from school and it was the best decision I could have ever made. Every season from then on, I was stronger, faster, my endurance improved, I felt more confident, and it made a HUGE difference in my performance. My only regret is that I didn't start years earlier.
However, the fact that nobody encouraged me to lift weights or taught me the importance of strength in my younger years inspired me to help girls get on the right track as early as possible. While boys are pushed into the weight room at an early age, girls seem to steered towards running and focusing more on endurance. Strength training is a key element of athletic preparation that unfortunately so many girls are missing out on, and I am here to change that!
While I can't go back in time and start my lifting career earlier, I can share what I know now and hopefully inspire your daughter to reach her true potential.
